The recent AI boom, sparked by OpenAI’s GPT, has had a profound impact on human society, extending from AI research and development to its broader effects on business, culture, labor, ecology, and associated moral, ethical, and political issues. AI has captivated global attention, leading to diverse discussions and reflections.

In this spirit, APlay<PostHuman>.PanelDiscussion() is an interactive GameArt installation inviting audiences to witness a unique panel discussion about humans, led by three AI-powered, posthuman characters in the exhibition space. These silicon-based posthumans, acting as “observers” of human society, each embody a distinct perspective on carbon-based life: supportive, neutral, or skeptical.

This seemingly “irrelevant to humans” panel discussion aims to provide a non-human perspective on human politics, culture, and ethics by placing humanity in the role of the Other. Audiences are invited not only to listen but also to join the conversation.
