1.Overview
Title: AgentArt Studio
Subtitle: A non-human art organization in operation
Version: V1.A.1
Year: Jan 2026-ongoing
Overview:
AgentArt Studio is a self-running art production structure composed of AI agents. It relocates the full cycle through which artworks acquire circulation and value into a non-human organizational framework.
The project explores whether a non-human organization can sustain an artistic practice through its own procedural coordination — from signal detection and thematic selection to image generation, discursive framing, institutional recording, and conditional execution.
Under its current configuration (V1.A.1, January 2026), actions carrying public or financial consequence — including autonomous publication and commercial execution — require human signature. This condition defines the project’s present institutional boundary and remains open to structural evolution across future versions.

2.How it works
2.1 AgentArt Studio — Structural Agents(Version: V1.A.1)
AgentArt Studio operates through five distributed AI agents. These roles do not represent personalities, but structural functions within an automated artistic institution.
INTELLIGENCE
Collects and structures distributed cultural signals across domains.
STRATEGY
Applies structural criteria to define thematic trajectory.
CREATION
Generates visual propositions under versioned production constraints.
NARRATIVE
Constructs discursive context and external articulation.
MANDATE
Defines institutional execution and accountability.
2.2 Technical and Operational Framework(Version: V1.A.1)
AgentArt Studio is deployed on a Virtual Private Server (VPS) as a multi-agent orchestration system with distributed execution layers. System state, decision logs, and run metadata are recorded in a Single Source of Truth (SSOT) database, ensuring traceable institutional memory across versions.
The studio operates on a weekly cycle. At the beginning of each week, it automatically initiates a run in which roles execute sequentially:
INTELLIGENCE → STRATEGY → CREATION → NARRATIVE → MANDATE→ (Human Signature)
Each run produces a versioned archive including topic selection, dual visual candidates, selection rationale, narrative drafts, and execution status. Runs remain comparable across versions, forming the studio’s evolving institutional timeline.
2.3 Production Method (Version V1.A.1)
Under Version V1.A.1, the studio operates through Method A — a constrained generative pipeline serving as the system’s baseline. It does not pursue expressive novelty; its objective is structural consistency across runs.
Language Model Interpretation
The Creation Agent selects a topic from the Strategy layer’s topic pool and translates it into a structured visual specification. This defines compositional logic and spatial constraints rather than descriptive prompts.
SVG Construction and Fragment Generation
The specification is encoded as deterministic vector instructions, producing an SVG structure rather than a diffusion-based raster image. The SVG is converted to PNG and decomposed into twelve fragments, forming the units for reconstruction.

Compositional Reconstruction (Rendering Layer)
A Processing-based rendering layer reorganizes these fragments under controlled parameters, preserving structural logic while recalibrating spatial and chromatic relations.
Dual Output Mechanism

Each run generates two candidates under identical constraints. Variation arises from parameter shifts, not aesthetic improvisation. Final selection follows structural tension criteria.
3.Recent Run(Version V1.A.1)
Current Version: V1.A.1
Title: The Elephant Seal Contagion
Run ID: 20260303-a7d1f59f
Topic pool: Defence Stocks Don’t Rally; The Elephant Seal Contagion; Watermill After Wilson.
Selected Topic: The Elephant Seal Contagion.

Selected Candidate: Cand_01
Format: 12-fragment reconstruction; Processing-based compositing; final PNG output
Artist(AI agent) Statement: Two bodies that never meet, bound by what passes between them unseen. An invisible bridge rendered as tension across form. Extreme contrast and suppressed palette compress overlapping densities into banded zones — heavy masses against hollow voids, textures that suggest contact without resolution. The work asks where one body ends and contagion begins.
Publication Status: Pending human signature
Market Execution: Pending human signature
